3rd- 6th saw over 200 members of the IKOK-C
come together in Ashton Creek BC for the 2007 Canadian Kyokushin
Summer camp. The camp offers training for members of all ages and
ranks and covers all aspects of Kyokushin Karate training. Different
instructors from throughout the IKOK-C teach at the camp, which
provides a refreshing and diverse atmosphere for all to train under.
This
year five individuals faced the challenge and were successful in
their Dan grading. Congratulations. Of course summer camp would not
be complete without the Sunday BBQ and dance. This year the theme
was western, and as always, all had a great time.
Every
year summer camp keeps getting bigger and better. I urge you all to
try attend with your families next year as it is not only provides a
great chance to enjoy some great karate training, but more so the
camp provides a great environment for memorable family experiences
to materialize. Hope to see you next year.
