2015 Reports | Winter Grading
Winter Grading
30 November - 8 December, 2015
From November 30th to December 8th Calgary Kyokushin Karate held its winter grading session. This session, many individuals challenged themselves for the quest to earn a new belt. Though not all were successful, it is safe to say that everyone gained a great amount of knowledge preparing for the exams. Kyokushin Karate practitioners must endure difficult examinations when grading for belts. It is one of the elements of our style that makes it unique. Once you achieve a certain belt you can be sure and proud that you earned that belt. Remember the key is not comparing yourself to others but comparing yourself to how you are today compared to how you were yesterday.
Remember!!!
"Following the Martial Way is like scaling a cliff. Continue upwards without rest. It demands absolute and unfaltering devotion to the task at hand"
Congratulations to you all for challenging yourselves this session!!
